What is histology?
Histology is the part of biology that studies the composition, structure, and characteristics of organic tissues. Through multiple histological techniques we can visualize under a microscope the structure of organs and tissues. In histology we have some standard techniques, through which we have an overview of the characteristics of a sample. There are many more specialized techniques, whose objective is to reveal some specific characteristic of the sample under study.
